A letter from me, to you.

Hey there readers!

Good things are coming! And thats why im writing you a letter from me, to you…

This blog post is gonna be a little bit different from the ones that you are used to getting from me. I’ll start by saying THANK YOU to every single one of you that has subscribed to my email notifications, and also if you are new here! As you may have noticed, I haven’t been as active these past months and I want to give you some insight on why. This blog has always been a fun creative outlet for me to share more about my love for books, cozy hobbies like coloring and fun printable ideas for productivity. However, since the summer started I was struggling to create content that I really loved.

I tried doing monthly reading challenges (which are available here if you want to check them out) but I wasn’t feeling as inspired as I usually am. That’s when I took a leap and jumped back into learning more about a topic I’m VERY passionate about: Climate communications. If you have browsed around my “about” page then you know that my main career is in sustainability. And that why I enrolled in a 12-week climate fellowship that was AMAZING!

But Gabby, what does that have anything to do with your blog?

Well, those 12 weeks gave me an opportunity to think deeply about what I like to create and share with others. This blog started in 2023 with mostly book-related content (which don’t worry is not going anywhere!!) and cute wallpapers to download for your devices. However, the more I think about the direction I want to take, the concept of “slow living” comes to mind over and over again.

What do I mean by slow living?

Taking time to read the books that make you happy,
Spend quality time with friends and family,
Enjoying cozy calming hobbies,
Be intentional,
Spend time outside enjoying nature,
And even if it sounds contradictory… basically GETTING OFF YOUR SCREEN!

You see how I didn’t mention go shopping or doom scrolling for hours? Well that’s because I want you to live your happiest life. Like my Pinterest bio says… “Making your life prettier (while you achieve your dreams)”. But a cute wallpaper by itself is not gonna make the cut anymore (Also don’t worry, I will keep posting wallpapers!), I just want to add more tools to the blog that can help you achieve that.

I’m working on the next steps to try and make this space safe, cozy and comfortable for everyone who’s looking for a nice piece of the internet. And I really hope you will join me in this upcoming adventure.
