That’s why I created this awesome journal prompts printable that you can download for FREE just for you! My goal this year is to focus more on gratitude and journaling, but you know how it goes—sometimes you sit down to write and… you don’t know what to write. So, I came up with a list of 16 unique journal prompts to help get those creative ideas flowing again.

You can print them out, cut them into little slips, and put them in a jar for those days when you need a little inspiration boost. And just to keep things interesting, I’ve made two versions: a colorful one for those who like a pop of color, and a black-and-white one for the minimalist souls out there.

Journaling is an awesome way to practice mindfulness, reduce stress, and keep track of personal growth. It’s like a mini-therapy session. And having a set of prompts on hand can really take your journaling game to the next level. So if you’re ready to dive in, hit that download button and get your printable. Some of my favorite benefits of journaling…

Journaling is an amazing way to clear your mind and focus on your thoughts. It’s a good practice to let you process your emotions, reflect on daily experiences, and come up with creative ideas. I’ve tried both journaling apps and a physical journal and I have to say that there’s something about putting your thoughts on paper that helps you gain clarity and perspective. Journaling also helps me so much in relieving stress; it is always a way to find solutions to problems I might be facing.

For me, adding time for mindfulness has been a game-changer this year. It was really important to me to create a space where I could just focus on taking care of myself, both mentally and emotionally. That’s why I made it one of my yearly goals—to ensure I had dedicated time to reflect and relax. Journaling has become a key part of my routine, helping me stay grounded and grateful. Plus, it’s a great way to track personal growth and how I’m doing in achieving my goals.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed or just need a moment to yourself, I recommend you giving journaling a try. You might be surprised at how much it can help you unwind and bring a sense of calm into your day! Make sure to download the Journal Prompts Printable and use it to do some guided journaling if you don’t really know how to start. Let me know in the comments how it’s going for you and if you would like for me to share more journaling tools.

Journal Prompts

Journal Prompts Printable

I’ve created 2 different versions of this Journal Prompts Printable to help you with your own journaling journey! A colorful one to make your prompts cute or a black and white one to keep it simple. Whichever you pick, I hope it can help you have a moment of mindfulness and calm.

How to use it:

  1. Choose your printable, download the file on the button below, and save it on your device.
  2. Once the file is downloaded, open it and print it on standard letter-size (8.5×11 inches) paper. Note: All printables are US Letter-size files.
  3. After printing, use scissors or a paper cutter to carefully cut each prompt. You’ll end up with individual slips of paper containing your journal prompts.
  4. Find a jar or container where you can store the cut-out prompts. This could be a mason jar, a decorative box, or any container you like.
  5. Whenever you’re ready to journal or need some inspiration, reach into the jar and pull out a prompt. Use it as a starting point for your journaling session.

After you’ve used some of the prompts, share your thoughts in the comments section. Let me know which prompt was your favorite or suggest new prompts for future printables.
