My Favorite romance books and tropes!

If there’s one thing I can’t get enough of, it’s diving into a captivating romance novel. Today, I’m excited to share some of my absolute favorites with you, along with the tropes that make my heart skip a beat.

First up is the Kings of Sin series by Ana Huang. This series has everything I adore – intense emotions, complex characters, and the perfect blend of passion and drama. If you haven’t picked this up yet, you’re in for a treat. Next, we have Better than the Movies by Lynn Painter. This book is a delightful mix of humor, heart, and swoon-worthy moments that will keep you turning pages late into the night. It’s a must-read for anyone who loves a good romantic comedy.

And of course, I can’t forget The American Roommate Experiment by Elena Armas. This book is a masterclass in the “forced proximity” trope, filled with chemistry and unexpected love that blossoms in the most charming way (also can we talk about Lucas? he’s in my top 3 book boyfriends! His golden retriever energy is everything!).

Speaking of tropes, my absolute favorites are enemies to lovers and forced proximity. There’s something about the tension and eventual softening between characters that always gets me hooked. The push and pull, the banter, and the inevitable realization that they can’t live without each other – it’s pure magic.
